For the second year running StatementOut has been awarded the contract to produce and mail all the Massachusetts state tax coupons as a subcontractor for Diversified Bussiness Systems in Haverhill, MA.  The Department of Revenue (DOR) mails 16 different multi-page tax forms to approximately 550,000 tax payers annually.  StatementOut has integrated social security number encryption and multi-level 2D barcoding to make the process flawless.  Prior to beginning work in the fall of 2007 the DOR sent a team of auditors to reveiw the production processes and conducted CORI background checks on all StatementOut personnel. 
In May of 2007 a serious breach of security occured with a previous vendor.

StatementOut installs new high speed camera's on flat sheet collators.  Mounted below the document collating station, the Cognex DataMan100Q camera's are capable of flawlessly reading 2D barcoding and can be custom programmed to handle differing formats and barcode positions which may change from job to job.  The camera and associated software controls the inserting machine operation and will pause the mechanical process if a blank, out-of-sequence, or duplicate is detected.
